We recently had Chris and team out to our property to dig a 1/3 acre fishing pond and remove a tree. The project included moving a lot of dirt while keeping the aesthetic clean and manageable, and clean up was quick and easy. They were prompt, professional, diligent and just plain good to deal with. Chris does great work and he's diligent in what he does. You really made my lot he cleaned the undergrowth out from under it and it look beautiful I was amazed at how well the ground cover was done away with. I highly recommend him for any lot cleaning that you need done on your property.

I let my yard get away from me. Called Snead's Outdoor services up. They came out and went over their services and options. After they mowed my yard, trimmed my bushes, redid my mulch beds and hauled some gravel for me my yard was looking awesome again. I would high recommend letting them service you.

Snead's Outdoor Services started with our owner, Chris Snead, who grew up in the landscaping and power equipment business alongside his father. He took to running machinery early, and once he graded his first plot of land on his father's tractor he was hooked — that is where this company came from.

We are still a small outfit and we like it that way: the person who quotes the cleanup is the one running the machine on it. We clear what the storm brought down, haul it off on our own trucks and put the ground back the way it was.

How much does it cost?

Every site is different, so there is no honest flat rate to quote. We come out, look at the job in person and give you a straight number before anything starts — free, and with no obligation to use us.

What happens to the trees, stumps and brush?

They come out and go with us. We take the trees, brush and stumps and haul the debris away, leaving the site neat and ready for the next phase rather than covered in a burn pile.

Can you leave some of the trees standing?

Yes. Tell us what you want kept when we walk the property and we clear selectively around it.

Do I need a permit to clear my land?

Sometimes, depending on the site and what is planned for it. We work out what the job needs as part of planning it, and handle the permits it calls for.

What equipment do you use?

Caterpillar equipment and other heavy machinery. We are owner-operated, so the person who comes out to quote your job is the one running the machine on it.
